2023 Fall/Winter Repair Special

As the 2023 riding season winds down, I see a lot less repair happening. This is great news since that means you didn't wreck, crash, or destroy your bike and the equipment continued to work flawlessly throughout the season. Many times I have to make this assumption.

Stay Ahead of the Spring Repair Queue

This year, I want to encourage you to bring your bikes in when they're done with their last rides of the season and assess what they need to get you through next year. By waiting to bring it in later, some of the issues you were having might slip your mind, making it a bit more consuming to figure out what's going on when I'm working on it.

I'm offering 15% off labor prices for in-house shock repair and brake bleeds for any mountain bike repairs coming through between now and December 31, 2023. I know it's not huge but it's what I can do to help you out and keep things working the way they should.

Winter Storage Tips

I see plenty of bikes put away after the last desert trip. I see them in March with red dirt and road salt all over them. Please, wash off your bikes with the garden hose before letting them sit, covered in grime, through the depths of winter.

  1. Don't Store Dirty Bikes
  2. Don't top-off sealant, it will just solidify or dry up
  3. Lube your chain! This will help prevent corrosion during the humid winter months
  4. Wipe the suspension surfaces, shock body and stanchions. These are the hard-anodized telescoping surfaces of the shock and fork.
  5. Store it/them in a dry space.

If I don't see you this fall, I'll see you later in winter. I hope we all get to ski our brains out. Or do whatever winter fun having you do!
