NOTE: This is for the beginner cyclist or mountain biker. Other courses will be offered for "How-To," this addresses "What is?" It is an Introduction Course.
When you bought your bike there were a variety of factors that kept you from getting the most out of the transaction and now you need to know about this experience machine. The bicycle, no matter what the purpose of its design, is an exposed, complex machine. This basic fact should keep you wondering how it continues to work once it is exposed to some rain or dirt.
What is a handlebar? What is a grip? That word: Derailleur?? What is that?
No question is too simple or basic, that is the purpose of this class. This will be held virtually for the time being so invite your friends from anywhere with an internet connection and limited to around 8 participants. The course is $50 per person. The online presentation will be accompanied by a "handbook" which I will email in .pdf format after payment.
We'll start out by going over the different parts of the bike and discussing some key components that you ought to service periodically. Each section is open for Q&A.
